Greg earned his Masters of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1998 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from A.T Still University in 2013. His undergraduate work from the University of North Dakota in 1994 earned him a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology.
In 1998, Greg built a successful career in Birmingham, Alabama, where he was employed as a physical therapist and athletic trainer for an outpatient hospital practice. His employment included being the head athletic trainer for the Birmingham Steeldogs Arena Football League, assistant trainer to the Birmingham Bulls East Coast Hockey League, regional sports medicine coordinator for the United States Under-17 Men’s National Soccer Team and Sports Medicine Co-Director for the hospital affiliated programs.
In 2003 Greg moved to Farmington, NM, and in 2006 established Therapy One. He is very active with state and local organizations that include being the Treasurer for the New Mexico Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (NMAPTA) and Access Physical Therapy Political Action Committee. Locally, Greg has been very involved with Farmington’s sports medicine development including sponsorship for the Connie Mac World Series, the Four Corners Foundation for Sports Medicine, and he continues to lend a hand to our area’s athletic trainers on any given day and night.
Greg specializes in treating a wide span of orthopedic conditions, having received certifications and training in Functional Dry Needling, Active Release, Functional Capacity Evaluations, custom foot orthotics, spinal manipulation, and other manual spinal and periphery techniques.
Greg and his wife Reann have a daughter and a son and reside in Flora Vista. His primary activity these days is playing with his kids; however you may find him snow skiing, running, or alpine climbing, skiing, running, or alpine climbing.
A product of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, Danielle earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University - Missouri in 2013. Her undergraduate work earned her a Bachelors of Exercise Science from Monmouth College, Illinois, that included a semester abroad at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
Danielle came to Farmington in the fall of 2013 as a traveling physical therapist, fell in love with the Four Corners and has been here ever since. She has been very active in the community, serving as a mentor and basketball coach at the Boys and Girls Club and is the 2014 Shiprock Half Marathon Women’s Champion.
Danielle is certified in Functional Dry Needling and is actively pursuing certification through the International Academy of Orthopedic Manual of Orthopedic Manual Therapists.
Shawnna earned her Associates of Science degree at San Juan College’s Physical Therapy Assistant program in 2011. She has worked at Therapy One since her graduation date, and has been very active with developing future physical therapy assistants, serving as a Certified Clinical Instructor.
Shawnna specializes in a number of physical therapy services including post-operative joint replacements, spinal injuries, and deep tissue mobilization. Her specialty and primary interest is post-operative shoulders. She has an excellent patient rapport, and has been an integral part of the growth of Therapy One over the past 4 years.
She and her husband live in Kirtland, New Mexico, with their 5 children.
Born in North Bend, Oregon but raised in Southern California. When she finally decided to hang up the surf board, she moved to Gig Harbor Washington for 8 years where she worked in a warehouse. In 2013, she made her way to the pristine beaches of Farmington, NM and attended San Juan College Physical Therapy Assistant program. A 2105 graduate, she is eager to begin her career.
She and her husband Charles reside in Farmington.
A 2014 graduate from the San Juan College Physical Therapy Assistant program. In the year since her graduation, Teisha has specialized in the rehabilitation of the injured worker. She is our lead therapist for Pre-Employment Screening assessments and work conditioning programs. This coming fall, Teisha will be certified in Functional Capacity Evaluations.
Cheryl has worked in outpatient physical therapy for the past several years in a variety of capacities that included an exercise specialist and physical therapy technician. It wasn’t until a few years ago that she elected to attend San Juan Colleges’ Physical Therapy Assistant Program and in June of 2015, she culminated her degree by becoming a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. Cheryl has great compassion for her patients and an excellent report amongst the physical therapists in our community.
Cheryl and her husband Lewis, live in Shiprock, New Mexico.
A longtime resident of Kirtland, New Mexico, Karlene came to Therapy One in 2007 shortly after its opening. In the beginning, she helped Therapy One with the day to day operations, and from there she took the reins and became the office manager, helping to lay the foundation of success in this company. Today, Karlene primarily focuses on the billing, but continues to oversee all office transactions.
Karlene and her husband Anthony, reside in Colorado.
Born and raised in Farmington, she is currently enrolled at San Juan College and is working on her Bachelors of Business through Highlands University. Jessica has been employed at Therapy One since 2009 and oversees all of the day to day functions.
Jessica is married to Casey and together they are raising their children Alex, Aiden, Abigail, and Andrea.
